Identity

Welcome welcome, fellow stranger. Read a little about me below:

Personal »

I’m Lasse Boisen Andersen, 22 years old (born on 19th of January 1988) and from Denmark. I consider myself energetic (excluding early sundays), a slave of perfectionism and very creative in all (edit: some) aspects of life.

Exploring the unexplored has always fascinated me, whether it be in travelling, extreme sports, entrepreneurship, IT and business development (curiousity really doesn’t kill cats). A few non-geeky spare time interests mention-worthy is guitar playing and climbing. The web, hardware, software an technology in general is close at heart. HTML/CSS is definitely my second language and technology stuff never gets enough. Okay, you get the picture: nerd, but still with a tiny chance for salvation.

Professional »

I graduated Roskilde Business School in the summer of 2007 with focus on Economics, Mathmatics and English. Good times back then, good times.

In early August the same year, I was employed in Second Opinion, now Momentum IT. During the one and a half year of employment, I worked as a SharePoint consultant which helped my mind working with everything from customer consultancy, project planning/execution, coding/development, server infrastructure and maintenance, tech support and default coffee fetcher. Our main product was customized solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint 2007, a heavyweight collaboration and portal platform. In 2008, I felt ready for the jedi-apprentice test and took a MCTS certification in Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 (Exam 70-631).

For a few years I’ve been running Laander, which is the my blog and self-hosted face to the world.
Besides the daily routines and tasks, I keep myself busy with various web development projects. The soon to-be web/nerd bureau is named Konscript – the machines are working hard for it to set off. Current skill set: CMS (Wordpress, Modx, Joomla etc.), front-end coding (xHTML, CSS, JS, jQuery), some PHP and SQL programming (MVC frameworks, Object Oriented programming etc.), SharePoint (installation, configuration, administration, front-end customization) and graphical UI design (using Photoshop/Illustrator and creative brain juice).

Random quirky ideas and concepts seems to be my curse, which keeps my entrepreneurial fire going. Most of the stuff barely leaves the drawing board tho’ and stays in my thinktank. For now.

Most of my time is consumed at Copenhagen Business School tho, where my studies for HA(it.) is progressing (it’s a bachelors degree in Economics, Project Management and IT).
